Tour Our Nest
We bought our first home in November 2008. Weeks before our wedding. We went into the house knowing it would be a full of projects and renovations but that was okay because we wanted to make it ours and put our stamp on it.
On to the tour:
Living Room
All I can say is ugh! We really hated the paint colors and this was the first room we painted.

From to
Kitchen
Around the corner is our 1980s kitchen. It really looked like it no updates had been done to the kitchen since being built in 1983.
Later that day we had our new appliances, we had pre-order them so we would not have to store or cook food in the appliances we inherited.
Home Office
Guest Bathroom
This was our first room we really renovated.
Guest Bedroom

We changed this room around multiple times before we found what we were looking for.
Then we decided that was not it but instead this is what we were looking for:
Master Bedroom
After a paint job and eventually buying new furniture we turned it into this.
And why not change it all up again for this:
And Lastly here is our master bathroom. It is on our ‘To Do’ list.

I am very slowly making a source list but I would say 90% of the items in our house are from IKEA, including that butterfly print! Thanks for looking! =)

I really love the stained wood in the bathroom- it looks so great. I think the before & after pics are great and help you forget all the hard work involved inbetween
reminds me I need to update some of the before & afters on my blog!

The wood inthe bathroom was prob. the easiet part. It was cheap thin plywood we stained and attached with liquid nails. The flooring and even painting took longer.
Happy Blogging! =)
